"ANGAHARA" Tickets

Following the success of Nruthyanada in 2015 and 2018 at the Riverside Theatres in Parramatta, Nruthyanada 2016 at the Lionel Wendt Theatre in Colombo (Sri Lanka), and Once Upon a Time in Sri Lanka 2024 at the Evans Theatre, Panthers in Penrith, Vidhunarthana Dance School is pleased to present ‘Angahara’. This production is presented in collaboration with the ‘Ranga Bera Mihira’ drumming ensemble and features ten professional dancers from the ‘Prasanna Ru’ Dance Academy, Sri Lanka.

In celebration of Vidhunarthana’s 19th anniversary, this concert will be held at the Evans Theatre, Panthers in Penrith, on Sunday, 14th June 2026. Previous Vidhunarthana concerts have attracted approximately 600 guests, and we anticipate a similar turnout this year.

Vidhunarthana, a prominent dance performance group based in Sydney with approximately 100 performers, will present a vibrant, creative, and artistic programme, offering the audience distinctive experience in both dance and music. We are honoured to have renowned Sri Lankan professional dancers and drummers performing at this event.

Vidhunarthana is a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting Sri Lankan culture, particularly among children of Sri Lankan descent residing in Australia. In keeping with our commitment to preserving our Sri Lankan identity within a multicultural society, we actively engage in numerous community activities across Sydney and Internationally.
