“The modern GOAT doesn’t achieve greatness — they bleat it. LOUDLY!”
GOAT used to mean Greatest Of All Time.
Now, because words mean whatever we want them to, it’s entirely flexible.
GOAT can mean Great, Grifter, Griever, Genius, Gullible — or anything else.
Maybe you just like goats.
In his new show, Sean Woodland examines cultural crazes, hypocrisy, the rebranding of language, identity and, well… goats.
Expect cultural contradictions, confusion, curiosity, and plenty of jokes that challenge Australia’s idea of who we are and who we think we’re supposed to be.
GOAT is about success, ego, investing in the shallow, and why Aussies tell everyone to “fit in” while refusing to explain what that actually means.
No wisdom. Some insight. Strong animal theming.
May contain cultural commentary on influencers, men’s health frauds, racists, muscle enthusiasts and goats.
“Has more than the average number of laughs up his sleeve…Do Woodland and yourself a favour and get along.” ★★★★The Adelaide Advertiser
“His understated punchlines and observations will resonate for a long time.” RipitUp
